Ohio Film Booth Busy Place During Locations Trade Show

The Ohio Film Office along with the Cleveland Film Commission and Cincinnati Film Commission, participated in the Locations Trade Show where they had 89 people visit their booth. The trade show took place in Santa Monica, Calif. from April 16-18. Booth visitors who inquired about filming in Ohio included writers, producers, location managers and people with a link to Ohio. There were a lot of friendly faces and some good leads that our city offices are currently pursuing.

Congratulations to Gail Mezey, Director of the Columbus Film Commission, on winning the AFCI Dancy Jones Professional Development Scholarship. Mezey will receive free training, registration for an upcoming seminar/film event and travel money to continue her professional development.
