The Ohio Tourism Division in conjunction with Fahlgren Mortine PR and Great Lakes Publishing brought home two PRism Awards and two Awards of Excellence (runner-up) from the Central Ohio Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America on April 23.

• PRism Award: Tourism Division Media Relations Program (non-profit)
• Award of Excellence: A Catalyst for Travel: Rally at the Ohio Statehouse (May 13)
• Award of Excellence: 2008 Ohio Travel Planner
Congratulations also are in order for: Cleveland Cavaliers, Columbus Clippers, Columbus Crew, the Columbus Symphony, COSI, Dublin Convention and Visitors Bureau and Experience Columbus. It is tremendous for our industry to see tourism partners excelling in their marketing efforts!
Entrants competed in 28 categories and were judged by the Los Angeles PRSA Chapter. PRism awards are the highest honor in public relations, awarded to first-place winners. There were 51 PRism Awards and 56 Awards of Excellence awarded by the Central Ohio PRSA Chapter.
